About our meeting...

It was really fun!

Our favourite activities were... all of them! By the end of the afternoon we simply didn't want to come back and we're looking forward to getting together again.

Hi dear friends...

Dear friends from Porto da Cruz,

We saw your post in the blog and we liked it a lot.Our meeting is almost happen and we are counting the days so we can finally be together because some of us had already meet on the school games in Água de Pena, remember?

So we are preparing all for next friday, but is a surprise...we don't have any pictures yet to post cus we want to keep it as a surprise.

We have researched about Scotland and we really are loving to make this work to present you.

Meeting Plan

Date: 20th March 2009

Place: Sant’Ana’s School

Time: 14:00/ 16:00

Activities:

*Presentation game: students will dance around the room to the sound of a Scottish song. One teacher will go about holding a scarf, which she'll let go off at anytime. The music will stop and the student who gets the scarf will present himself to others by saying his name, surname and age.

*Singing/ dancing activities: each class will present a song or dance to the other.

*PowerPoint presentations: pupils will talk about and show some pictures/information on the countries they have been studying.

*Quizzes: each student will take a quizz on the other school’s country, which will be corrected by another school’s peer.

*Tea time: pupils will enjoy some hot tea and triangular jam sandwiches.

*Drawing/ writing time: individually, students will make a drawing that portrays this meeting and will write one sentence, with the help of the other school's teacher, mentioning his favourite activity.

The 20th March is just around the corner. While we anxiously await for our first meeting, we're finishing things, so everything will go as planned. Take a look!
